At the top of the world!

Or it least it felt like it!  We decided to show my mom the beautiful mountains of Colorado with an up close and personal view by driving up the the summit of Pike’s Peak.  For those of you who don’t know, Pike’s Peak is what they call a “fourteener” which means that the summit is just over 14,000 feet above sea level.  The view is so absolutely amazing, you really do feel like you are on the top of the world!  The drive up is breath taking, with sharp corners and curves, along with many “oh my god keep your eyes on the road” drop offs!   But we got some amazing photos that I thought I would share!  Enjoy 🙂
